The Xcerts – Gum
The Xcerts are a ‘distorted pop’ band, originally from Aberdeen, Scotland and they’re simply awesome. They’ve released two outstanding albums in the form of ‘In The Cold Wind We Smile’ and ‘Scatterbrain’.They’re currently on tour with Brand New and are looking to do one final headline tour in support of ‘Scatterbrain’ before going to work on album three.
‘Scatterbrain’ is easily one of my favourite albums of recent years. it’s got a great mix of soft and heavy,often within the same songs, and layered three voice vocals which is reminiscent of early Biffy Clyro. It’s an amazing album and I highly recommend you check it out.
