Fighting With Wire – Dead Memory

Fighting With Wire are a three piece rock band from Derry, Northern Ireland who have just signed to Xtra Mile to finally release their second album Colonel Blood which is due out on September 25th 2012.

Colonel Blood was recorded in 2010 but their American label spent eighteen months messing them around, so they parted ways with the label and are now ready for a new start with Xtra Mile. Fighting With Wire have just set out on a UK headline tour with dates in Cardiff, Exeter, London, Brighton and many others. A full list of dates can be found on their Facebook page.

To celebrate the signing, Xtra Mile are giving away a Fighting With Wire track, Dead Memory, on their website but only until Monday 11th  June 2012, so act fast.

Dead Memory is taken from the upcoming album Colonel Blood and is a raging rock track. Sounding like early Foo Fighters, but with less haste and more intensity Dead Memory is the sort of track you’ll fall in love with after one listen and that love will last forever. Anthemic and with killer riffs Dead Memory is just fantastic.
