Hawk Eyes – Headstrung

Hawk Eyes are a four piece band from Leeds who make pulsating and exhilarating rock music. Hawk Eyes’ latest album, Ideas, was released on March 16th  2012

This autumn Hawk Eyes are supporting Therapy? on their UK tour as well as supporting Sucioperro on select dates for their tour. Hawk Eyes played Reading Festival last weekend and were one of the stand out bands of the weekend, so if they’re coming to a town near you, make sure you go and see them. Hawk Eyes are an incredible live band with an awesome collection of songs performed with passion and a unmistakable yet well deserved confidence that’ll just blow you away.

Headstrung is the latest single to be taken from Ideas. It’s a pulsating powerhouse of a song, with crashing drums battling against juddering guitars that gives Headstrung the sense of an aural battle. Headstrung is pacey, without rushing as the incredible riffs are delivered with confidence and precision to create a song that has all the swagger of an arena anthem, without succumbing to emotionless hooks. The vocals are punchy and direct yet still soar over the battling noise that lay beneath them.

Ideas is out now.
