2000 Trees 2014

Last years 2000 Trees felt like a victory. A celebration. A conclusion. It was brilliant, but where do you go from there? For a small festival, invested in the growth of British underground bands, there’s a glass ceiling.

This year, 2000 Trees are taking themselves out of their comfort zone. There’s bands from around the globe, giving the lineup an injection of fresh talent, but what makes this years ‘ Trees really exciting is the push it’s given to the old favorites. Both Tall Ships and MaybeSheWill are out of The Cave and are in sink or swim slots on the mainstage. There’s suddenly a sense of danger to the whole affair.

There’s six weeks to go, tickets are running low and it’s going to be superb. Stay tuned for my recommendations, and start getting excited.
